Mission Statement & Contract
The Endeavor Talent Agency represents all actors, actresses, musicians, models, writers, producers, directors, athletes and other creative artists.
As a social network, the spirit of an interactive community is one of our focal goals. Behind the scenes, the "agents" are dedicated towards managing lasting partnerships with (and between) our clients, by providing an organized and secure foundation for a community of members who themselves wish to interact, engage with others, and form stimulating bonds over the long-term.
As a celebrity RPG that endeavors to push the boundaries of characterization and "roleplay", the dream is for a group of inventive minds, writers with flair, and portrayals that come with
personality. The goal is to foster a small yet diverse environment where characters are allowed and encouraged to be portrayed as deemed accurate by their players - as realistically and inspired as possible - as well as to nurture a haven where writers may find other writers like themselves: players seeking creative engagement, development for their chosen roles, and perhaps some collaborative literary dynamics. In short, we're all here to have some fun, but we also recognize that a part of that fun comes from a passion to explore.
Rules & Activity OverviewWe stand by no overarching rules on how a character is played or what stringently constitutes "activity", since we are keen on diversity and the ideal that every character is unique and should be allowed to conduct and express themselves accordingly. Primarily, portrayals should be well thought out, believable and representative of the celebrity, so a strong foundational knowledge of your character is a basic necessity. Players should - above all, perhaps - respect their chosen celebrity enough to attempt portraying the role with an accurate resemblance.
Celebrities are also generally expected to stay true to their real-life career commitments, such as their filming and touring schedules, but of course, a suspension of disbelief is promoted for all social relationships.
Scheduled journal updates in your character's personal journal are not an official requirement within the community. Creativity and inspiration don't come at any appointed times, and neither will we hold any player/character to that specific form of community engagement. All that we ask, is for members to be conscious of their character's rationales behind their updates (or lack thereof) and to be responsible for their role, while bearing in mind that the agency is meant to provide a
social network for its clients. We are here to get to know each other, perhaps intimately, and a severe lack of any individual's visible presence will leave us no choice but to reconsider that individual's position in the agency.
Clients are expected and encouraged to stay active and interactive through any means possible, such as writing scenes, commenting, posting in journals and the subcommunities,
Chirping, having chats, etc. Since the Agency has no way of monitoring the non-visible aspects of all community involvement, a role's "activity status" will be assessed from a character's visible presence through any of the following:
